Mont’Albano was founded in 1985 in the heart of the Friuli Venezia Giulia region by Mauro Braidot
Contrary to the trend at the time, he intuitively converted his initial 5 hectares (12.3 acres) of vineyard to organic production.
The winery quickly grew with its outstanding wines of Friuli and soon began working with organic grape growers in the neighboring Veneto region as well.of the winery
